Greg Anderson Golf Academy At Foxtail Golf Club Now Open

Rohnert Park, Calif. — PGA professional Greg Anderson has returned to Foxtail with a full Golf Academy featuring the latest technology paired with hands-on assistance and experience, with regularly scheduled group and individual golf lessons, clinics and custom club fitting.

Anderson, who served earlier as the PGA Director of Instruction and Head Golf Pro at the formerly named Mountain Shadows Resort in the 1990’s, moved to Kauai and was the PGA General Manager and Head Golf Professional at the Makai Golf Course at the Princeville Resort for several years before returning home to work for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and Jackson Family Wines as the Director of Golf Hospitality.

The new Greg Anderson Golf Academy is located at the northeastern end of the driving range, where Greg’s hands-on encouragement and instruction is aided by the same advanced technology used by top touring professionals and swing coaches, including Hank Haney, the swing coach for Tiger Woods. JC Video/Computer Swing Analysis and Zelocity Launch Monitor help identify the hidden strengths in the golfer’s game, measuring such variables as club head speed, ball velocity, side spin, total spin, launch angle, carry and total distance. Ball striking is done upon the state-of-the-art Golf Mat by V.J. Singh, called a divot-like surface. Using technology and years of practical experience, game improvement tips and drills, along with swing sequence photos and available club fitting , the lesson package is complete.
